It’s been a while since I shared a Pinterest board, so here is another one of my many boards. I haven’t been as active on there recently, but I love that about Pinterest; your boards are always waiting for you to continue pinning new content whenever you want to/remember your login details.
So it is Thursday morning rather than Wednesday but I didn’t have a chance to post last night!
I am currently working on a cowl/scarf which I have designed myself. It is a garter stripe cowl with mustard waffle stitch at one end and will have a button fastening.
I had to undo the mustard section yesterday because of tension issues (always swatch Rachel!!) But have started it again with bigger needles and it is looking much better now. Someone has already requested to buy this one but I am hoping to write the pattern up once I have finished, and knit up some others.
In other news, I have signed up for a charity blanket knitting event which is on 7th October in Chalkwell (near Southend on Sea), where we will all be knitting, crocheting and sewing blankets for the fantastic homeless charity Crisis and also collecting donations for the local homeless charity Harp. If you would like to get involved, click here.
Harp are an amazing charity in Southend, providing all sorts of resources for homeless people. If you would like to find out more about them, click here.
That’s it for this week!
